no wrong way to feed ZIWI, it works great as a complete meal or as a
topper for a nutritional boost on your existing food.
Why is there sometimes variability in my ZIWI Peak food?
ZIWI Peak uses natural ingredients, handcrafted in small batches,
featuring high inclusions of meat and organs and excludes artificial
fillers, dyes and preservatives. This, in combination other natural
factors such as age and seasonality of the ingredients we use, often
results in variability of shape, size, color, texture and odor. This
variation is perfectly normal and is an indicator as to how natural the
food really is!
How do I transition my cat to Ziwi?
ZIWI Peak is nutrient dense. A little goes a long way, don’t be
surprised if you feed less! Introduce a new recipe slowly over 6-8 days,
gradually increasing the amount of the new recipe while decreasing the
old, until you are fully transitioned. Please refer to our transition
guide on the packaging.
Can I rotate my cat through different Ziwi recipes?
We recommend a gradual transition between proteins, to minimize the
potential for digestive upset. Please refer to our transition guide on
the packaging.
How does the new Provenance series differ from other ZIWI Peak wet recipes? Our
Provenance air-dried recipes feature 5 meats & fish from a single
region in New Zealand. Comparatively, our original Ziwi Peak recipes
feature limited ingredient 1-2 protein sources.
